Use metal charms to add dimension to your creations.
They are also great for adding simple accents.

ATTACHING METAL CHARMS

Adhesive: You can use hot glue or any other strong adhesive/glue that is formulated to adhere to metal. There are also some types of glue dots that will work.
Brads: Most metal charms come with a small hole for attaching.
If the hole is large enough you can use a mini brad to adhere to your paper.
Thread: You can attach the charm by stitching it into place on your card. Thread through the metal hole in the charm and then through your cardstock with a paper needle. If you want to hold your charm in one place, you can add a small dab of hot glue under the metal tag. Or you can leave the tag free moving.

COLORING METAL CHARMS

Most metal charms come in a standard metallic finish. You can add color that is translucent onto the charm. Use a Palette stamp cube and a stipple brush to apply the color. Lightly tap the stipple brush to the pad and then to the metal charm until you have desired color. You then need to heat set the ink onto the charm.
You can even mix colors or make a multiple-toned metal charm.
Use a permanent colored marker to apply color. (Such as a colored Sharpie marker).
