The Santa was stamped on a vellum panel with black pigment ink and heat embossed with black powder. The design was colored in from the back with markers. The design was then stamped on the front panel of an Astrobrights Red greeting card and cut out with a craft knife. The colored vellum piece was mounted behind the cut out window. On the inside of the card, line with a plain white panel. The white paper will show through from the front to give Sana's beard a whiter appearance. Otherwise the red card behind the vellum would show through.
