The Nativity design was stamped on a piece of burgundy cardstock with black pigment ink and heat embossed with clear powder. It was colored in with watercolor pencils and gold accents were added with a gold gel roller pen. The design was cut close around the outer edges of the design and portions of 'space' inside the design were also cut out with a craft knife. This piece was then set aside. A full burgundy greeting card is the base of this card, followed by a layer of metallic foilboard that was cut with a Victorian Paper Edger. The next layer is a piece of burgundy cardstock that has been smeared with a combination of black and gold ink and then torn to create the lighter edges. Finally, the already finished nativity design was mounted as the top layer with foam mounting tabs.
