The Nativity Scene was stamped on a vellum panel with black pigment ink and heat embossed with black powder. The design was colored in from the back with markers. The design was then stamped on the front panel of a dark blue greeting card with clear embossing ink and heat embossed in silver. Portions of the design were cut out with a craft knife. The colored vellum piece was then mounted behind the cut out window.
