The Sailboat was stamped in black pigment ink and heat embossed with black powder onto a piece of transparency (acetate). It was colored with markers from the backside and heat embossed with clear powders to set the colors. The sailboat was then stamped onto a blue panel and a "window" in the shape was cut out with a craft knife. The transparency piece was mounted behind the blue panel and a decorative edge was added using a paper edger. Finally, the piece was mounted to a blue marble greeting card.
