The Samoyed image with its hint of water background was stamped first and masked. Other scenery elements were combined around it, giving the appearance of surrounding water areas. A black pen was used to connect lines where necessary.

The image was colored with watecolor pencils. Then the top mountain elements were cut out, with a square deckled cut around the rest of the design. Complete by layering onto a greeting card.
